Tempranillo Rosé

Characteristics:

The Tempranillo, also referred to as Cencibel, is one of Spain's most widely-cultivated varietals. In order to make a rosé out of it, the vintner skips the traditional fermentation on the skin for producing red wines. The grapes are immediately pressed after being harvested. That's what gives the rosé its typical light salmon-pink colour. The fruit reminds you of raspberries and somewhat of lemon. The wine is pleasantly refreshing, thanks to its very mild acidity. The rosé is the perfect companion for light fare.
